Engineering Manager

We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic and hands-on leader with solid technical prowess to join our team as the Engineering Manager. In this capacity, you'll spearhead a group of developers and engineers in constructing scalable and adaptable infrastructures tailored for DeFi analytics. The ideal candidate will possess previous experience with cloud-native platforms and crafting backend database designs. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing team efficiency, fostering a culture of excellence, and directly contributing to the development of analytics at scale.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Design cutting-edge analytics systems integrating large-scale databases, microservices, and distributed computing technologies.

Establish robust technical and architectural foundations, championing good design practices, behaviors, and principles in software development.

Review technical requirement documentation (TRD), infrastructure designs, and draft proposals to develop and deploy scalable technologies.

Lead and coordinate engineering projects, ensuring optimal resource utilization.

Drive departmental planning, including setting departmental goals and OKRs.

Plan, manage, and execute technical project plans to ensure timely delivery.

Collaborate with product managers, software architects, and other engineering teams to determine overall system solutions.

Skills & Requirements :

Proficiency in Golang and SQL / NoSQL.

Strong understanding of Algorithms, Data Structures, Operating Systems, Databases & Distributed systems, and basic Cryptography.

Fluent in both Vietnamese and English, based in Ho Chi Minh City, and comfortable collaborating with remote teams.

10+ years of experience in data engineering and architecture.

Minimum of 3 years' experience in leadership / management roles.

Familiarity with cloud-based distributed databases and streaming processes.

Hands-on experience in infrastructure development for large-scale systems.

Deep knowledge of data-intensive applications and DBMS technologies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
