Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description
- Responsible for measuring and taking off quantities from design drawings.
- Obtaining quotations, liaising and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Prepare, analyse and present cost comparison to management.
- Attend negotiations, discussions, meetings with sub-contractors and suppliers where necessary.
- Work with Engineering Department to oversee and ensure compliance with technical standards.
- Communicate with the management, contractors and sub-contractors on the adjustments to cost estimates to facilitate smooth transition of information.
- Control project scope to meet project objectives in order to enhance project deliverables and key work activities.
- Prepare cost analysis and form cost reduction strategies to ensure the overall value is enhanced for the project.
- Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments.
- Assist Contractual team on contractual claims so that the project scope is managed.
- To assist the Project Control Manager with all other QS related job as required.
Job Requirement
Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or its equivalent.Able to work independently, meticulous, analytical for long-term service.Working experience as a Quantity Surveyor are preferred.Site Office Address : 2 International Business Park #05-25 The Strategy Singapore 609930
