Claims Executive (Travel Insurance, DGI / CGI / HI, Hands On)

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities :

• Liaise with policyholders, intermediaries, surveyors, adjusters, investigators, lawyers, third-party claimants, and related parties, including sister companies.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to assistants in their roles.
• Handle and process claims promptly, fairly, and professionally, in line with service benchmarks and established protocols.
• Ensure reserves are set and updated accurately, realistically, and in a timely manner.
• Support underwriters by highlighting issues identified during claims handling, such as policy wording gaps or areas for risk improvement.
• Attend client meetings, MOM sessions, and site inspections as required.
• Conduct periodic reviews of claims files to ensure quality and compliance.
• Actively pursue and follow up on recovery claims to maximize outcomes.
• Carry out other duties or assignments as instructed by the superior.
