Head of Export Finance Asia-Pacific

Manages the ITB Export Finance and Solutions ("EFS") teams in Asia Pacific, in coordination with the ITB Country Heads.

Defines the business and origination strategy of EFS in APAC together with the ITB APAC Head, SCOs, Coverage, ITB Heads, and ITB Business Lines Regional Heads.

Ensures strategic and execution alignment with ITB Strategy through close coordination with ITB Global Head, SRO, and respective ITB Business / Product Lines’ Global Heads.

Member of ITB Asia-Pacific Executive Committee.

Develop Export Finance activities in Singapore and other Asian countries with no EFS presence. This includes internal and external marketing, origination, and acting as Deal Leader / Transaction Manager of export finance transactions when needed.

Manage and support other teams in developing EFS activities across the Asia-Pacific region.

Contribute to increasing EFS revenues and profitability in line with the Business Line’s strategy and the bank’s risk policy. This involves structuring and executing EFS transactions and preparing marketing documents.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage the ITB Export Finance and Solutions ("EFS") teams in Asia Pacific, coordinating with the ITB Country Heads.
• Lead the Asia-Pacific EFS team and support structuring and executing inbound and outbound transactions, ensuring proper implementation with relevant team members and internal parties.
• Market to MNCs based in Singapore to generate EFS opportunities in Asia-Pacific, collaborating with export desks and Singapore-based business lines.
• Maintain contacts with banks in the region to gather market intelligence and develop partnerships for transactions and joint opportunities.
• Lead origination efforts in Asian countries without EFS presence, review APAC Country Risk strategies, and define objectives with the Head of ITB Asia-Pacific.
• Define KPIs and report on the performance of EFS activities in APAC.
