(FSMP) and OT Cybersecurity Management Plan (CSMP) in compliance
with IEC 61511 and IEC 62443, covering all project phases from FEED
to commissioning.
Led HAZOP, LOPA, SIL
determination, and SIL verification activities; coordinated
Functional Safety Assessments (FSA) Stages 1-3 with third-party
consultants, ensuring timely closure of findings.
Defined and reviewed Safety Instrumented System (SIS)
design deliverables, including FDS, GA / wiring diagrams, SIL
achieved reports, and facility-wide Cause & Effect (C&E)
charts.
Conducted system architecture reviews
of ICSS, PSD, ESD, and F&G systems, identifying SUCs and
preparing zone and conduit diagrams with clear cybersecurity
boundaries.
Authored and enforced
Cybersecurity Requirement Specifications (CRS), incorporating
mandatory security countermeasures derived from detailed risk and
threat assessments.
Reviewed and validated
vendor Cybersecurity Functional Design Specifications (FDS),
including firewall rules, IP addressing schemes, access controls,
and hardening measures.
Witnessed and
validated cybersecurity FATs, covering vulnerability assessments,
network segmentation, firewall ACLs, remote access, patch
management, and backup / restore testing.
Supported SIS FAT / SAT and commissioning, ensuring
conformance of Safety Instrumented Functions (SIFs) to SRS,
datasheets, and safety lifecycle requirements.
Managed ICSS deliverables : architecture design, shutdown
hierarchy, control narratives, alarm rationalization, and ergonomic
studies, ensuring robust integration of topside and marine
packages.
Provided authoritative guidance as a
certified IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert and TÜV Rheinland
Functional Safety Engineer, bridging the gap between cybersecurity
and functional safety domains.
Collaborated
closely with EPCs, operators, and vendors, ensuring all functional
safety and cybersecurity deliverables meet project, regulatory, and
industry
standards.
Requirements
Degree in Instrumentation and Electronics Engineering.
Professional certification in IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert and
TÜV Rheinland Functional Safety Engineer is highly
desirable.
Above 15 years of experience in
Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) design, OT
Cybersecurity, and Functional Safety across major Oil & Gas
projects with global EPCs and operators.
Above
10 years of experience in the design, implementation, and assurance
of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), ESD, PSD, and F&G systems
in compliance with IEC 61508 / IEC 61511.
Above 10 years of experience in OT cybersecurity,
including ICSS network architecture, segmentation, firewall ACLs,
patch management, malware protection, access control, and incident
response based on IEC 62443.
Above 5 years of
team management experience, leading multidisciplinary teams across
APAC, Middle East, and Europe.
Above 10 years
of involvement in FPSO / Offshore Oil & Gas projects, ensuring
delivery of projects to schedule, budget, and quality
standards.
Highly proficient in ICSS
configuration tools, SIL assessment software, OT cybersecurity
assessment tools, and network simulation tools.
Expert knowledge in alarm rationalization, Cause &
Effect (C&E) analysis, SIL verification, cybersecurity
management, and functional safety lifecycle management.
Strong understanding of regulatory, classification
society, and operator standards in both functional safety and OT
cybersecurity domains.
