Role : Piping Design Engineer
Navsar Global is partnering with a leading client on a critical infrastructure project at the Tuas NExus Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) site. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Piping Design Engineer for a 1-year contract to play a pivotal role in the completion of the Water System Cycle (WSC) design. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a significant waste-to-energy initiative with a global leader in engineering solutions.

Tuas NExus IWMF site, Singapore
Contract Duration : 1-year contract
Responsibilities :
- Piping Layout Design : Develop and finalize comprehensive piping layout drawings, ensuring optimal space utilization, constructability, and adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
- P&ID Development & Review :
- Create, update, and review Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with process requirements and control philosophies. This includes updating P&IDs control logic based on approved Functional Descriptions (FDs).
- Isometric Drawing Production :
- Generate detailed isometric drawings for fabrication and installation, including bill of materials and welding details.
- Instrument Hook-up Drawings :
- Prepare precise instrument hook-up drawings, detailing connections, tubing, and installation requirements for various instruments.
- Valve & Instrument List Management :
- Conduct thorough review and verification of valve and instrument lists, ensuring completeness and accuracy against P&IDs and project specifications.
- KKS Numbering System :
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders (e.g., KSES) for the review and verification of KKS numbers for Line-3 and Line-4 P&IDs.
- System Focus :
- Contribute expertise specifically to the Water System Cycle (WSC) design, encompassing high-pressure (HP), medium-pressure (MP), low-pressure (LP), and very low-pressure (LLP) steam systems, feedwater, condensate, LTECO Recirculation Cooling, Biogas Superheater, Air Cooled Condenser, bypass, and Turbine auxiliaries systems.
Qualifications : - Education :
- Degree or Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
- Experience :
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects.
- Industry Preference :
- Demonstrated experience in process plants, particularly within waste-to-energy facilities, is highly preferred.
- Technical Expertise :
- Strong understanding and practical experience with various water system cycle components and designs, including steam systems (HP, MP, LP, LLP), feedwater, condensate, cooling systems, and turbine auxiliaries.
- Software Proficiency :
- Proficient in relevant piping design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation, SP3D, PDMS, Navisworks) and office productivity tools.
- Collaboration : Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
