Senior Project Manager / Director (Batam, DataCenter)
About the Role
These roles are responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of data-centre projects, from bid and pre-commencement through to practical completion. The incumbents will manage safety, technical, commercial and operational requirements to ensure projects are executed efficiently, safely and profitably. Each position involves leadership, client management, and coordination across internal teams, subcontractors and external stakeholders, ensuring that work meets ISO standards, HSE requirements and customer expectations.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage the full project lifecycle—from bid through delivery and close-out—ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specification.Demonstrate strong Health & Safety leadership : ensure compliance with all regulations and company safety systems (RAMS, ISO standards, zero-incident culture).Develop and maintain client relationships : act as main point of contact for customer communication, progress reporting and escalation management.Coordinate with commercial teams to manage project risks, opportunities, and financial performance (profit & loss, cost forecasting, contract reviews).Supervise project teams, subcontractors and site personnel : set objectives, monitor performance and ensure accountability.Participate in bid and proposal activities, contributing to the preparation of competitive, compliant and commercially viable submissions.Manage pre-commencement and construction activities to optimise productivity, efficiency and quality across all stages of delivery.Ensure supply-chain engagement : maintain positive relationships with key subcontractors and vendors.Conduct site inspections, surveys and design-checking activities : ensure design and execution compliance with international standards and client requirements.Provide progress reports and internal performance updates using standard templates and reporting tools.Support employee development through mentoring, performance reviews and capability-building initiatives.Uphold company values, confidentiality and compliance with data protection and information security standards.Requirements
Project Management Professional (PMP), Prince2, or equivalent is mandatory.Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or Business-related field preferred.Minimum 5 years of experience managing large-scale projects in data centres, M&E or construction environments.Familiarity with the FIDIC contract suite—specifically the Yellow Book (Conditions of Contract for Plant and Design-Build) — and experience working under or managing projects aligned to such standard contract forms.Proven ability to oversee electrical, mechanical and connectivity installations in compliance with international standards.Strong commercial acumen and financial literacy, with demonstrated experience managing project budgets, costings and profitability.Excellent leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to inspire, develop and lead multi-disciplinary teams.Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.Demonstrated experience in Health & Safety compliance, ideally with IOSH / SMST / CSCPM accreditation.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and project reporting tools.Willing to travel between Singapore and Indonesia.Note : Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
