Roles & Responsibilities
The jobholder is responsible for all facilities related works including repair and maintenance of Econ facilities. He is also responsible for conduct of regular checks for any defects or irregularity in the electrical system, nurse call system, machines, furniture that are within the nursing homes.
Maintenance of facility
- Assist in the facilities operation, management and maintenance for the group
- Inspect and ensure all services and systems are in compliance with the statutory requirements of the relevant authorities
- Conduct monthly building inspection as scheduled
Repair and maintenance
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance works as scheduledAttend to all fault or service call requests for AMCV, building, electrical, plumbing & sanitaryAttend to breakdowns and users’ daily feedback and service requests as and when requiredCarry out minor installation, repairs and replacement works whenever neededCheck and rectify defective equipment and built-in componentsTroubleshoot and repair or recommend corrective actions for all fault call requestsPerform all preventive maintenance as instructed and scheduledVendor Management
Source and recommend contractors / vendors for repair / rectification worksManage and supervise vendors and contractors, and ensure they carry out the assigned works according to company’s set terms and conditionsInventory and Resource Management
Create ePR for purchases, repair works as instructedAssist in procurement and purchasing of services and partsMaintain adequate and accurate inventory control for all company’s assets, spare parts, equipment, tools and instruments as requiredSupervisory
Provide supervision to the respective centre’s handy man as and when the need ariseAdministrative
Assist Manager with collation of quotations and provide report when necessaryMonitor and general utilities report e.g. electricity bill, water bills and submit to the respective Centre Managers end of the monthMaintain and update the regular maintenance report in One Drive – e.g. Lift service report, generator service, etcAssist with General Duties
Perform general housekeeping and service activitiesInvolve with new facilities upgrading and enhancement worksOther Duties
Assume any other additional responsibilities as assigned by Manager, Facilities or Head of Department (HOD)Prepared to be posted for overseas assignment when the need arisesRequirements
Minimum GCE ‘N’ LevelsCandidate with NITEC Skills Certificates in ACMV or M&E services has an added advantageCandidate must at least one year of relevant hands-on experience in troubleshooting ACMV and M & E faultsKnowledge of mechanical and electrical systemMust be computer literateHands-on personTell employers what skills you have
