Job descriptionDiploma in Mechanical, Electronic, or any other engineering disciplines 1-2 years experience in Process Engineer / Research and process development support to customers in the Semiconductor industry Candidate should be experienced in handling improvement or development side upon customer request Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel for business needs (Such as presentation and forecasting) Willing to travel and work overtime when required Possess knowledge or working experience in Dicer / Grinder / Laser is preferred Experience working in a Japanese company Fixed Bonus (Up to an equivalent of 1 month) in March Variable Bonus (Depends on Business Performance) Annual Leave : Up to a maximum of 21 days and staff is able to bring forward a max of 14 days Medical Leave : 14 days Medical Insurance : Panel clinics etc. Transport Allowance : SGD 150 Company Cab Card (Full access to all comfort taxis) Dental Benefits : SGD 800 / year Specialist Outpatient : SGD 1,000 / year
Job Description
Our client is a leading Japanese multinational corporation specializing in the supply of high-quality tools and equipment. They are currently seeking an Application Engineer to lead research initiatives and provide process development support to their customers.
Responsibilities】
- Perform Grinder process development support for customer
- Perform in-house application test cut and on-site customer support
- Process development support to customer
- Process customer claims for abrasive product
- Perform technical support with good knowledge on blade / wheel / Laser
- Required technical understanding
- Participate in company organized activities
- Promote good interdepartmental relationship
- Establish and maintain good relationship with customers
- Communicate frequently with Engineer from Japan
