Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

Job Overview: The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial reports and statements to support the company’s financial reporting requirements.

This position will require a high level of analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

• What you’ll be doing: Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual (separate and consolidated) financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Ensure compliance with SEC and other regulatory reporting requirements.

Research and provide guidance on technical accounting issues and new accounting standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information.

Develop and implement financial reporting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and other accounting standards.

Manage and mentor junior financial reporting analysts, providing guidance and support as needed.

Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.

• Who we are looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional qualification such as ACCA (or equivalent) is a plus.
• 4-5 years of experience in financial reporting or related field, Big 4 experience is preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Ability to lead and mentor junior financial reporting analysts.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting software.

Expert knowledge of GAAP and other accounting standards, with the ability to research and provide guidance on complex accounting issues.

Proficient in speaking both English and Mandarin.
