Job Description
The Senior Quantity Surveyor (Tender) is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and managing the full spectrum of tender submissions across various types of construction projects. This includes analysing tender documents, performing quantity take-offs, evaluating supplier / subcontractor quotations, and ensuring timely, competitive, and compliant submissions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and prepare comprehensive cost estimates for all tender submissions.
- Source, evaluate, and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Carry out quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns based on drawings, specifications, and document requirements.
- Review and interpret tender documents, including drawings, specifications, and contract requirements, to ensure full understanding of the project scope.
- Identify discrepancies in tender documents and raise timely clarification queries.
- Provide cost inputs and supporting data in accordance with tender submission requirements.
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
- Prepare tender costing sheets.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of the works and deliverables.
Job Requirements :
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industryAt least 2 years of experience in tendering rolesMeticulous, detail-orientedSelf-motivated, energetic, and a strong team playerWell-developed interpersonal skills and strong communication abilitiesProactive and resourceful in problem-solvingTell employers what skills you have
