Roles & Responsibilities

Core duties and responsibilities

• Order processing : Create, compile, and process purchase orders based on requisitions from various departments.
• Supplier management : Liaise with vendors to obtain quotes, compare prices, negotiate terms, and resolve any issues with orders.
• Inventory control : Monitor stock levels, update inventory records, and help reconcile physical counts to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Delivery coordination : Track order status, coordinate with suppliers and delivery providers, and ensure items arrive on schedule and meet specifications.
• Record keeping : Maintain organized and accurate records of all purchases, including orders, invoices, delivery receipts, and pricing.
• Quality assurance : Conduct quality checks on delivered items and handle returns for incorrect or damaged shipments.
