ENGIE Services Singapore is seeking a passionate and experienced ACMV / HVAC Engineer to join our dynamic team. If you have a strong background in mechanical systems and a drive to lead and innovate in facilities management, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities :
Technical & Operational Leadership
- Lead and assign duties to Engineers and trade technicians.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted safely and in compliance with safety protocols.
- Oversee preventive maintenance checks with engineers, ensuring adherence to checklists and schedules.
- Respond promptly to corrective maintenance needs and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, both verbal and written.
System & Vendor Management
Prepare and review technical specifications for ACMV and mechanical systems.Evaluate and improve operational procedures, workflows, and staff performance.Manage specialist vendors for preventive and corrective maintenance, including performance reviews.Escalate major faults to the Facilities Manager and communicate effectively with clients.Compliance & Coordination
Act as the main coordinator for emergency preparedness, QEHS, and BCP exercises.Lead site inspections and management walkabouts.General Responsibilities
Ensure smooth daily operations of mechanical and ACMV systems.Guide Engineers in project, tender, and asset inventory management.Conduct technical training sessions with the engineering team.Review feedback and recommend system or workflow improvements.Evaluate vendor and staff performance, recommending training and development plans.Support the Facilities Manager with additional tasks as needed.Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical).Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in maintenance and management.At least 2 years of hands-on experience with mechanical systems, including :Chilled Water ACMV Systems (Chillers, AHUs, FCUs)VRV ACMV SystemsMechanical FansBuilding Management Systems (BMS)Lifts & EscalatorsMedical Gas SystemsWater & Ejector Pumps, Stormwater PumpsMotorized ValvesPneumatic Systems (Air Compressors, Blowers)GMAP or SCEM certification is highly preferred.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Tell employers what skills you have
