Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking for a Retail Assistant for our client, you will be the face of their store, delivering excellent customer service, operating the cashier counter, and ensuring shelves are well-stocked and tidy. You’ll play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers while supporting store operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Customer Service & Sales Support
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer product-related questions and offer recommendations
- Support promotional campaigns and upselling where appropriate
Cashiering Duties
Operate POS system and handle cash, credit card, and digital transactions accuratelyProcess refunds and exchanges according to company policyEnsure proper cash balancing at the end of the shiftStore Operations
Replenish and arrange merchandise on shelves according to planogramMaintain cleanliness and orderliness of the storeMonitor stock levels and assist in stocktaking activitiesCheck product expiry dates and ensure items are well-labeled and in good conditionCompliance & Safety
Follow all in-store SOPs and adhere to company policiesComply with health and safety regulations and hygiene standardsRequirements :
Minimum Secondary education or equivalentPrior retail or cashiering experience preferred (training provided)Good communication and interpersonal skillsCustomer-oriented with a positive attitudeAble to work shifts, weekends, and public holidaysTell employers what skills you have
