Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and strategic IT personnel to oversee the full suite of IT functions within our group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing IT infrastructure, ensuring the security and reliability of IT systems, and supporting technology needs across the organisation. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to align IT strategies with group objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Strategy and Planning. Develop and execute IT strategies and plans that align with the group’s goals and objectives. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools that can enhance business operations and improve efficiency. Manage IT budgets, including cost control, vendor management, and contract negotiations.

IT Infrastructure Management. Oversee the development, installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware. Manage IT assets and inventory, including procurement, deployment, and lifecycle management.
3. IT Security and Compliance. Develop and implement IT security policies and procedures to protect company data and systems from cyber threats in line with industry best practices. Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential risks.
4. IT Governance and Compliance . Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and legal requirements related to IT operations. Develop and maintain IT documentation, including policies, procedures, and system configurations. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the company’s IT infrastructure competitive.
5. Technical Support and Troubleshooting. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently. Maintain a helpdesk system to track and manage IT support requests and ensure timely resolution. Train and support staff on IT-related issues and best practices.
6. Project Management. Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Coordinate with other departments to gather requirements and ensure successful implementation of IT solutions. Monitor project progress, manage risks, and address any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
7. Data Management and Backup. Oversee data management practices, including data backup, recovery, and storage solutions. Ensure regular backups are performed and test recovery procedures to guarantee data integrity and availability. Implement and manage data archiving and retention policies.
Qualifications
1. Minimum Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CompTIA) are a plus.
2. Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in IT management or a similar role, with a comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure, security, and support.
