Accountant / Senior Accountant (Manufacturing)

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced and meticulous Accountant / Senior Accountant to oversee daily accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and audit activities. This role requires strong technical knowledge in financial reporting standards, experience in managing a small team, and the ability to ensure financial and regulatory compliance across regions, particularly with exposure to Vietnam accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and supervise the daily operations of the accounting team to ensure smooth financial processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Maintain accurate and complete financial records in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Ensure adherence to Vietnam Accounting Standards and relevant financial legislation, where applicable.
• Support and participate in internal, external, and government audit activities.
• Oversee tax compliance matters including e-invoicing, Corporate Income Tax (CIT), and Foreign Contractor Tax (FCT).
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all tax-related matters.
• Take the lead in financial and tax audits, ensuring timely preparation and response to audit requirements.
• Implement and monitor key financial controls to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
• Identify and recommend improvements to internal controls, systems, and processes.
• Lead, mentor, and support the professional development of the accounting team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial issues and support improvement initiatives.
• Handle ad-hoc financial tasks and projects as required.
