Job Purpose

The Director of QMS will architect and lead the enterprise-wide Quality Management Strategy, spanning global operations, manufacturing sites, and technology platforms. This executive leadership role will steer the organization’s quality direction across compliance, systems integration (QMS / MES / PLM), customer satisfaction, supplier quality, and operational excellence. This role will serve as a key member of the leadership team, aligning quality objectives with NTI’s innovation roadmap and commercial goals.

Responsibilities :

Enterprise Quality Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute the global QMS strategy in alignment with NTI’s strategic priorities and regulatory environment.
  • Serve as the voice of quality in executive forums, influencing cross-functional decisions with data-driven insights and risk-based thinking.
  • Lead a high-performing global quality organization across multiple manufacturing locations and business units, ensuring consistent quality governance and culture.
  • Embed quality as a value-driver across product lifecycle—from R&D and pilot production to high-volume manufacturing and customer deployment.

Regulatory Compliance & Quality Systems

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and continual improvement of ISO-compliant QMS (e.g., ISO 9001) across regions and subsidiaries.
  • Ensure compliance with global regulatory and certification requirements across industries including medical devices, automotive, and electronics.
  • Lead global audit readiness, CAPA execution, risk management, and management review processes with rigor and transparency.
  • Customer & Supplier Quality Leadership

  • Drive customer satisfaction through best-in-class product quality, proactive issue management, and strong voice-of-customer mechanisms.
  • Serve as executive escalation point for critical quality issues, ensuring timely resolution and root cause remediation.
  • Oversee supplier quality management strategy, including supplier qualification, audits, performance scorecards, and development programs.
  • Digital Transformation & Systems Integration

  • Drive the digitalization of quality systems and integrate QMS, MES (Manufacturing Execution System), and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) platforms to support traceability, analytics, and proactive quality management.
  • Partner with IT and operations to deploy connected dashboards and predictive analytics, enabling real-time decision-making and performance monitoring.
  • Ensure data integrity, cybersecurity, and system scalability in alignment with NTI’s digital manufacturing roadmap.
  • Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Champion Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 6S principles to drive continuous improvement across quality and operations.
  • Lead high-impact CI programs to reduce defects, improve process capability, and increase yield and productivity across NTI’s manufacturing footprint.
  • Build and institutionalize a culture of structured problem solving, knowledge sharing, and operational discipline.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Industrial Systems, or related technical discipline.
  • 20+ years of progressive experience in quality, operations, or advanced manufacturing, with at least 10 years in senior / executive leadership roles.
  • Deep expertise in ISO 9001 and regulatory frameworks across relevant sectors (manufacturing industry).
  • Proven success in deploying integrated QMS / MES / PLM platforms in complex, regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (or higher); strong knowledge of digital manufacturing and analytics tools.
  • Executive-level stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels and across cultures.
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and forward-looking mindset with the ability to lead change in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
