Job Description :
- Implement, maintain, and administer network, operating systems, storage, and backup solutions, including regular updates and patches to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues to maintain system stability and reliability.
- Monitor system performance and availability to proactively address potential issues.
- Implement security measures to protect infrastructure from internal and external threats.
- Collaborate on system development tasks including design, implementation, integration, and testing.
- Provide on-call, 24x7 support for systems on a rotating basis.
- Implement corrective procedures to resolve production problems and minimize unplanned system outages.
- Create and maintain programmatic and technical documentation to support efficient planning and execution.
- Coordinate with external parties and customers to ensure timely and effective problem resolution.
Job Requirement :
Solid understanding of operating systems and networking fundamentals.Minimum of 2 years supporting enterprise desktop environments, with strong technical expertise in VMware vSphere and VMware Horizon VDI.Practical experience applying ITIL principles in IT service management.Passionate about emerging technologies and eager to learn and adopt new skillsets.Effective team player with the ability to work independently and take initiative.Strong communication skills with the ability to manage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)
Proficiency in networking concepts or certification such as CCNA.Experience with VMware NSX for network virtualization and security.Advanced knowledge of virtualization platforms, particularly VMware and vSphere.
