Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

1. Kitchen Management

  • Ingredients Management : Control the inventory of ingredients, ensure freshness, and avoid waste.
  • Hygiene and Safety : Comply with food safety regulations and keep the kitchen clean and tidy.
  • Equipment Maintenance : Use and maintain kitchen equipment and report faults in a timely manner.
  • Time Management : Arrange the cooking sequence reasonably to improve efficiency.

2. Teamwork

  • Collaborate with colleagues : Work closely with other chefs, waiters, buyers, etc.
  • Train subordinates : Senior chefs need to guide junior employees and teach techniques and specifications.
  • Communication and Coordination : Communicate with restaurant management on menus, cost control and other matters.
  • Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as Sous Chef / Outlet Chef with Chinese cuisines
  • Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management
  • Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills
  • Credentials in health and safety training
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a coffeeshop / foodcourt environment
  • Team player
