Fund Accounting Manager (Private Equity)

Your new company

Corporate services provider, part of a larger multinational conglomerate, with more than 15 years in Singapore. The company assists clients, ranging from large corporations to sole proprietorships, offering end-to-end solutions - including financial reports, tax obligations, and regulatory compliance in Singapore. They are looking for a Fund Accounting Manager for private equity - you must either have private equity or real estate accounting experience.

Your new role

Lead and manage projects related to process improvements, financial modelling, and system implementations.

Oversee and support the successful launch of new funds.

Review capital account statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Review capital call and distribution notices for correctness and timely dissemination.

Review and / or prepare financial statements and quarterly investor reports.

Review and / or develop waterfall and equalisation models.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Manage client relationships and collaborate with cross-functional service teams.

What you'll need to succeed

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.

Knowledge of Investran system.

Chartered Accountant (Singapore) or CPA qualification is a plus.

Minimum of 6 years of experience in Private Equity Fund Accounting.

Strong understanding of Private Equity operations, including fund structures, waterfall models, equalisations, and fund accounting.

If not private equity, solid understanding of real estate accounting.

Solid knowledge of IFRS and other relevant accounting standards.

Knowledge of fund accounting for Hedge Funds or Family Offices is a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
