Job descriptionOffering strategic risk advice across SC Ventures and guiding investment activities on risk management frameworks and policies. Leading strategic risk assessments of the competitive landscape for delegated Risk Types. Proposing the Risk Appetite for SC Ventures and its entities. Contributing to risk, performance, and remuneration processes to foster a strong risk culture. Driving the strategic agenda for SCV Risk related to business and investment activities. Providing guidance and best practices on risk management for delegated Risk Types. Ensuring alignment of SCV’s strategy with Group Credit and Operational Risk requirements. Managing governance processes for Credit and Operational Risks delegated to SCV Risk. Enhancing operational efficiency of risk processes. Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Reviewing audit reports and risk reviews to identify key trends and areas for improvement. Promoting a culture of continuous learning within SCV Risk. Supporting innovation and development of solutions aligned with Group’s aspirations. Leading by example to cultivate the right culture and values. Reviewing training needs and delivering relevant training. Developing policies and standards for delegated Risk Types. Identifying and managing material risks within Risk Appetite. Ensuring clear understanding of risk responsibilities across the First and Second Lines. Reviewing the effectiveness of risk management policies and standards. Providing oversight and challenge on delegated Risk Types. Understanding and reflecting risk governance requirements internally and externally. Maintaining cooperative relationships with regulators. Upholding exemplary conduct and adhering to the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and guidelines. Supporting SCV Risk in achieving fair outcomes, market integrity, and compliance standards. Proactively managing risk, conduct, and compliance issues.
