Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred). Over 15 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a large organization, with a proven ability to bridge IT and business teams. Strong background in business development, sales, or vendor management with a track record of converting business relationships into revenue. Excellent business acumen and the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities in vendor relationships. Proven success in developing and executing communication strategies, particularly in IT or technology-driven industries. Strong understanding of IT trends, digital transformation, and the role of technology in business success. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in creating high-impact content for various audiences. Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional or communication teams. Professional certifications in sales or business development and experience in a sales-driven IT services organization are a plus.
Role Overview : The Head of IT Partnership & Communications for the Asia Pacific region is crucial in aligning IT strategies with business objectives through strategic partnerships and effective communication. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with IT service providers, vendors, and technology partners to drive mutual growth and operational excellence. The position also focuses on enhancing the internal brand identity of IT, positioning it as a key enabler of business success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Partnership Strategy :
- Develop and implement the IT partnership strategy for the APAC region, ensuring alignment with business goals and identifying growth opportunities.
- Convert vendors or service providers into customers by identifying mutual business opportunities and tailoring service proposals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure service offerings meet or exceed vendor needs.
- Manage the sales cycle from identifying opportunities to closing deals and securing long-term contracts, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regional regulations.
- Business Development :
- Approach key vendors or service providers with value propositions that support their business objectives.
- Drive revenue growth by converting vendor relationships into profitable partnerships.
- Internal Brand Development & Management :
- Create a consistent narrative around IT's role in business innovation and digital transformation.
- Increase visibility and understanding of IT's contributions within the organization.
- Communicate the business impact of ongoing and upcoming IT projects.
- Internal Communications & Thought Leadership :
- Lead internal IT communications to keep employees and stakeholders informed about IT projects and innovations.
- Produce newsletters, intranet content, presentations, and other materials to drive employee engagement and awareness.
- Promote IT department achievements and innovations externally to enhance the organization's brand.
