Responsibilities :
This position will ensure operational functions for
private asset investments are performed on a timely and accurate
basis by the Private Assets Services Team. The Team's functions
include, but not limited to :
Monitor and process all capital call and distribution
notices received from General Partners (GPs) in a timely manner.
This includes handle the capital call and distribution workflows,
ensure proper record keeping of transactions in Front Office
System, funding is arranged and distribution is
received;
Maintain user access to GP Portals
and GP contact list;
End-to-end transaction
execution for new investments;
Handling new
investments setup in Front Office and Middle Office
Systems;
Act as contact point with GPs on
capital call, distribution, undrawn commitment, queries
etc.;
Data and user access maintenance of
Middle Office System;
Work closely with Core
Operations team and the service providers including the custodian,
fund administrator, transfer agent, valuation agent and auditor to
ensure tasks are completed on timely manner, issue is handled or
escalate to next level;
Participate in
investor onboarding activities such as customer KYC, subscription
form, commitment agreement and FATCA / CRS declarations.
Managing the capital call and distribution workflow
processes and issuance of notices by the AIA VCC to investors who
are AIA internal clients;
Work closely
with the Private Assets portfolio management teams (including
Private Equity, Venture Capital, Private Credit, and Real Estate),
Company's internal clients, external managers and service providers
to ensure that services are being performed and are meeting
expectations.
Participate in, contribute to,
and provide support to Group and Company projects involving private
asset investments as and when
required.
Requirements :
Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Accounting,
Banking and Finance or related.
At least 3
years work experience in an asset management company or private
asset general partnership involved in the management of private
investments.
Strong understanding of
end-to-end investment processes, controls and technologies for
private assets is an advantage.
Knowledge of
how fund vehicles such as SICAV or Singapore unit trusts / VCC
operate is an advantage.
Experience in working
and communicating with external service providers and fund
managers.
Strong communication skills in
written and verbal form.
Advanced skills in
Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Ability to work
under pressure without compromising quality and accuracy in a fast
paced environment.
