In Group Technology, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and strive to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our Data Centre environment within a highly regulated banking environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data center networking, automation, and security to support mission-critical financial applications.
Key Accountabilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Cisco ACI and EVPN environments.
- Accountable for level 3 network support with 24x7 escalation
Job Responsibilities
Maintain up-to-date network topology diagrams, runbooks, and change records.Collaborate with vendors (Cisco TAC, Service Providers) for escalations and advanced troubleshooting.Prepare audit reports and participate in risk assessments for network security.Responsible for organizing meetings with various teams, internal or external, and engaging the right team or person to deliver the project on timeJob Requirements
Over 8+ years of experience in supporting complex banking IT environments or equivalent, including 5+ years of experience in network implementation with a focus on Cisco ACI, especially in Multi-Site, Multi-Pod setup.Experience with Cisco and Arista products, especially DCI technology, Fabric Path, OTV, VXLAN, VPC+, MLAGStrong understanding of routing protocols such as PBR, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and EVPBachelor's degree in engineering or computer sciencePython and Linux shell scripting are an advantageCertifications such as CCIE or equivalent level in networking are an advantageTell employers what skills you have
