Key Responsibilities
As a core and senior member within the RMBI team, to drive RMB Internationalisation strategic agenda within the Bank’s network and footprint markets.
- Closely monitor the latest regulatory changes and market opening measures pertinent to RMBI and China financial market opening and to ensure SCB is a first mover for new business opportunities across corporates and financial institutions, arising from regulatory changes by delivering relevant application based solutions to our clients.
- Promote cross border connectivity between China and other regions to achieve seamless onshore and offshore collaboration in driving the RMBI business strategy.
- Actively drive RMB usage with international clients via client engagement such as client meetings / calls, seminars, workshops, webinars, and within the organisation via internal teach ins, review meetings.
- Create marketing content for internal training and external client pitches and engagement, e.g. incl. but not limited to pitch books, At a Glance, Newsletters, Spotlight, submissions for external awards on a regular basis etc.
- Perform research and analysis on market data and proprietary data of RMBI to support sales engagement activities.
- Support SC industry leadership through awards pitching and projects / taskforces, where relevant.
Strategy
Using RMBI to amplify our Bank’s cross border and network capability.Connect corporate and institutional clients to a network that offers unique access to sustainable growth opportunities across Asia, Africa and the Middle East.Leverage on our China franchise, global network and product capabilities to capture emerging cross border opportunities arising from RMBI.Business
Work with partners in Coverage and Products teams and the supporting functions to identify incremental growth opportunities for RMBI.Processes
Closely follow the latest regulatory announcements by the relevant Chinese regulators, such as NFRA, PBoC, SAFE, CSRC etc.Engage relevant product partners to transform new regulations into deliverable RMBI client solutions.Work with CFCC and COO teams closely to ensure the solutions are strictly adhering to the new regulations and if necessary, seek clarification from relevant regulator.Adhere to sales discipline in deal pipeline management and tracking as a team.Raise any key risk and regulatory concern per governance framework.Regulatory & Business Conduct

7 plus years of experience in client facing role in Banking.Bachelor Degree in Banking or in Finance PreferredExperience in Sales or any client facing role is preferred.Proficiency in Mandarin or Chinese as the role will focus on China and Hong Kong.Knowledge in business markets, customers' needs and risk management.Competence in managing change, planning (Tactical, Strategic) and client relationship managementRole Specific Technical Competencies
