IT Systems Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager, we are seeking an experienced and highly skilled System Engineer to design, set up and maintain a network of computers, including hardware, software, and system architecture. Individual should be a good team player and is able to engage and interact with internal and external stakeholders.

• Manage project implementation on the development and installation of new networking and computing infrastructures (ie. Dell server / storage hardware, Wireless network, switches and routers, Firewall, and basic infrastructure support)
• Installing and configuring operating systems and application software. (ie. Microsoft servers, messaging, monitoring / management software, Backup software, Virtualization, DLP / Antivirus software )
• Selecting the best possible solutions using knowledge of a wide range of available technologies.
• Anticipating potential issues or bottlenecks and identifying possible solutions.
• Troubleshooting and resolving all technical issues when they arise.
• Generate Service Report for customers and ensure that the report is sent to the customer timely.
• Coordinate and monitor work progress with customer and relevant parties for information to expedite
• Perform 24 / 7 standby duty for service calls on a rotational basis.
• And any other ad hoc job requirements
