Job Description
This role is a strategic support for the procurement operation function, influencing significant change management across Food Solutions, Business Units, and functions. Responsibilities include supporting development of productivity BP, Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, Source-to-Pay (S2P) Management, operational support and internal controls & compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Senior Procurement Manager / Head of Tactical Sourcing to deliver sourcing initiatives across food related categories via the Collaborative Procurement Model (CPM), Category Management and 7-step sourcing process.
- Own sourcing and operational knowledge in defined categories, collaborating with BUs / functions during 7SSP project development, analysis, sourcing, negotiation, contracting and agency management.
- Ensure monthly reporting through updated CPM Tracker.
- Manage Global Procurement internal controls, risk management, and supplier integrity with supplier management teams.
- Communicate effectively with procurement colleagues and business stakeholders across functions.
- Identify category strategy opportunities for improved systems and process efficiencies.
- Collaborate with Finance and marketing to align budget timelines and planning for each category.
- Deliver strong analytics capabilities, validate buying requirements, and guide users to appropriate products and services.
- Maintain compliance with S2P to achieve key performance metrics.
- Ensure consistency with Global Procurement policy and Operation Manual across BUs / functions.
- Facilitate approvals / sign‑offs from appropriate parties before committing to spend.
- Coordinate with supplier performance management to address feedback, disputes and complaints.
- Work with supplier risk management to conduct timely audits and manage risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with supplier relationship management to execute and monitor SRM initiatives.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, Business, or Computer Science preferred.Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, ideally in Fast‑Moving Consumer Goods, Hospitality, Retail, or Consulting.Background in procurement, consulting, or business operations preferred.Strong expertise in category management and sourcing processes.Demonstrated analytical, negotiation, and contract management skills.Proven leadership and stakeholder communication abilities.Strategic mindset focused on process improvement.Can work independently and collaboratively within a team.Adaptable, proactive, and committed to continuous learning.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong negotiation and contract delivery experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
