Duties
& Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day nursing operations, ensuring
high-quality care delivery and smooth workflows.
Manage staffing levels and deployment based on residents'
care needs.
Lead the implementation and review
of nursing policies, procedures, and SOPs.
Monitor residents' health and ensure timely medical and
nursing interventions.
Conduct regular ward
rounds and audits to ensure compliance with nursing
standards.
Oversee infection control,
medication management, and emergency response protocols.
Ensure full compliance with MOH, AIC, and SNB regulatory
requirements.
Prepare documentation and
reports for audits, inspections, and accreditation.
Drive continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives
across nursing services.
Supervise, coach, and
evaluate nursing staff to ensure performance and professional
growth.
Identify training needs and provide
opportunities for continuing education.
Build
strong relationships with residents and families, ensuring their
concerns are addressed promptly.
Ensure
accurate and timely documentation of nursing care, incidents, and
resident outcomes.
Prepare and submit reports
to senior management and regulatory authorities.
Contribute to strategic planning and service development
in nursing operations.
Perform additional
tasks as assigned by management in support of the Home's
objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing or related
field.
Registered Nurse with the Singapore
Nursing Board (SNB).
Minimum 5-7 years of
relevant nursing experience, with at least 2-3 years in a
leadership role.
Strong knowledge of
geriatric / eldercare nursing, nursing standards, and healthcare
regulations.
Prior experience in eldercare or
nursing home setting is preferred.
Basic
knowledge of patient care and nursing practices.
Good communication skills to interact with residents,
staff, and visitors.
Compassionate and
resilient in challenging care situations.
Comfortable handling wounds, body fluids, and other
clinical tasks.
Willingness to take on
additional
responsibilities.
