WORKPLACE SAFETY & HEALTH OFFICER (WSHO)

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

• Be fully responsible for health and environmental control, safety meeting and to ensure a safe working environment at workplace.
• Enforce & maintain high level of safety awareness and consciousness in the workplace.
• Review & Implement HSE policy and guidelines, safety management system for the company.
• Conduct regular site inspection to ensure compliance at all times.
• Familiar with all workplace safety and health matters, including WSH Act, COP & etc.
• Recommend, implement & carry out safety training programmes for workers.
• Work closely with site operating staff on all safety and health issues.
• Supervise, inspect and rectify any unsafe workplace.
• All other duties of WSHO.
