Roles & Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION :

• Responsible for end-to-end procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
• Sourcing and evaluating vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Obtaining and comparing quotations; negotiating prices and delivery terms.
• Issuing Purchase Orders (POs) and following up on timely deliveries.
• Monitoring inventory levels to avoid stock shortages or overstocking.
• Maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation.
• Coordinating with internal departments (Production, Finance, Stores, etc.).
• Evaluating vendor performance (quality, price, delivery timelines).
• Ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and standards.
• Generating reports on procurement activities, costs, and savings.
• Handling return / replacement of damaged or incorrect goods.
• Using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Tally, Oracle) for procurement operations.
