Key Responsibilities :
To develop new business by identifying potential sales opportunities and by following up new leads and sample requests.
To negotiate the best achievable commercial agreements and to develop and implement short term plans for product sales. To achieve sales plan / targets in line with business, marketing, and pricing policies.
To report promptly on business (e.g. C4C visit reports) in the designated market, identifying any threats or opportunities as they arise. To identify and implement improvement plans within own area.
The job holder is required to carry out activities like new business development, new product promotion, and considering market application of products under supervision with advice and assistance readily available.
Required to gather data on market prices and competitor behaviour and provide feedback to the relevant Sales & Marketing teams.
To maintain and grow business by developing appropriate contacts within the organisation (technical, marketing).
To visit customers in order to explain, promote, recommend Croda products and provide technical support within designated markets and regions. To coordinate projects and development work with customers. To ensure required channel management for the designated markets.
Drive and manage distributor partnerships to maximize market coverage, monitor performance metrics, and align distribution strategies with overall business objectives.
To liaise with all necessary Croda functions as required (e.g. sites, supply chain, finance) to ensure all requirements (customer & Croda) are fulfilled from order receipt to cash collection.
To update internal sales forecasts (Voyager) as required.
To ensure all customer issues / complaints are resolved within the relevant system and responses fed back to customer.
To assist in the promotion of new and existing products by attending exhibitions and undertaking marketing projects as directed by sales management.
This role carries no line management responsibility.
