This role is responsible for overseeing
and managing all aspects of student enrolment processes and
assisting students with their enquiries. This includes annual unit
planning, course matrix management, study plan creation, student
retention initiatives, enrolment status updates, and managing
enrolment variations. The role ensures accurate and efficient
enrolment operations in compliance with standards and relevant
policies.
Key
Responsibilities
Course
Planning and Management
Coordinate annual unit planning and maintain an
up-to-date course matrix.
Ensure timely
approval and communication of unit offerings with course providers
and regulators (e.g., SkillsFuture Singapore).
Manage course transitions, new course registrations, and
deregistrations.
Facilitate provision of
software and on-campus learning
facilities.
Study Plan
Creation and Maintenance
Develop, update, and communicate study plans aligning
with course requirements and unit changes.
Support students with enrolment variations (LOA, Course
Withdrawal, Change of Major / Course, CRL applications).
Ensure study plans reflect approved changes and are
communicated timely to students and
stakeholders.
Enrolment
and Registration Management
Oversee smooth enrolment and class registration
processes, ensuring deadlines and procedures are
communicated.
Monitor prerequisites, failed
units, and facilitate re-enrolments.
Maintain
accurate enrolment status in student management systems (e.g.,
Student One).
Collaborate with Scheduling Team
on class sizes and teacher-student ratios.
Manage unit withdrawals and enforce relevant policies and
deadlines.
Provide student academic advising
and support during orientation and academic sessions.
Work with related teams (Assessments, Academic
Capability) to manage at-risk and terminated
students.
Student
Progression and Retention
Manage student progression, including briefings and
application processing.
Monitor retention
rates and intervene early for at-risk students in collaboration
with Academic Capability
teams.
Administration
and Reporting
Provide
enrolment reports and updates to stakeholders.
Maintain detailed records of enrolment and registration
activities.
Ensure clear communication of
enrolment information, policies, and
timelines.
Other
Duties
Review and
improve enrolment and course planning processes.
Support audit preparations and compliance with regulatory
requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned
by the Director of Academic
Services.
Requirement
Diploma or a Bachelor's degree or equivalent
qualification
Relevant experience in student
enrolment, registration, or related administrative
roles.
Familiarity with student management
systems.
