Roles & Responsibilities
- Serve as the main liaison for customers on freight-related inquiries, bookings, and shipment status updates
- Coordinate with internal departments, carriers, and external service providers to ensure smooth and timely cargo operations
- Address customer complaints efficiently, providing quick and effective solutions to ensure a positive service experience
- Prepare and verify all required shipping documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, and import / export paperwork
- Track shipments and proactively inform customers of any updates, delays, or issues
- Assist in preparing freight quotations and support rate negotiations with customers
- Maintain up-to-date customer records and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in the system
- Ensure full compliance with customs regulations, industry standards, and internal company policies
- Collaborate with the sales team by responding to service-related questions and supporting follow-up with clients
- Proactively seek areas for improvement in service processes to increase operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
