Details :

Industry : Contract Logistics
Reporting To : Head, Business Development
Salary : $6,000 - $8,000, plus transport allowance + AWS and Variable Bonus
Target Customer Segment : FMCG, Retails, High Tech Business

Summary :

A leading logistics and supply chain solutions provider is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive strategic sales growth and strengthen client relationships. This role is ideal for experienced professionals in the logistics sector, particularly those with a background in FMCG, Retails, High Tech Business verticals.

Responsibilities :

Develop and execute sales strategies to meet organizational sales targets.

Set short- and long-term sales objectives aligned with company goals.

Forecast and manage annual sales quotas, revenue, and profitability.

Identify and acquire new customers while maintaining existing relationships.

Provide outstanding service to clients, analyzing logistics lanes for competitiveness.

Conduct financial analyses to evaluate profitability and customer performance.

Monitor market trends and competitor pricing strategies.

Lead contract negotiations, tender submissions, and commercial proposals.

Oversee sales team performance and support ongoing sales initiatives.

Prepare reports and business updates for management as needed.

Support other sales-related functions and strategic projects as assigned.

Requirements :

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience in the logistics industry.

Preferably with 3PL background, specializing in FMCG, Retails, High Tech Business verticals.

Proven track record in business development and achieving revenue goals.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Experience with sales planning, contract negotiation, and feasibility assessments.

Strong leadership qualities and ability to work across all organizational levels.

Willing to travel for business development and client engagement purposes as required
