Position
Overview
The Marketing
Communications Executive creates and executes property-level
communications with our customers. Reporting to the Director of
Marketing Communications, the individual promotes on-brand
messaging to customers through traditional, digital, and social
media channels to enhance the hotel's
image.
The
Role
MANAGE BRAND
EQUITY
Analyse market research
findings, including guest reviews on Google and Tripadvisor, to
evaluate brand awareness and association, implementing appropriate
response strategies
Perform analysis of
reputation risk to determine business impact to
organization
Oversee branding, positioning,
local strategy, campaign development and agency
management
DEVELOPING MARKETING
STRATEGIES
Executes annual marketing
plan with approved budget, in consultation with Director of
Marketing Communications
Collaborate with
Operations, Food & Beverage and Sales teams to execute
promotions and campaigns aimed at targeting in-house and city
guests with promotions that drive incremental revenue to the Hotel,
including F&B outlets
MANAGE
MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS AND PUBLIC RELATIONS
Acts as the liaison between the marketing department and
advertising / PR agency on the tactical advertising campaigns'
creative and media plans, particularly for food and beverage and
spa promotions
Manage all media relations
activities and information, including maintaining and distributing
press kits, press releases, photo library, brochures, newsletters,
key personnel biographies and hotel Q&A sheet
Plan and execute sponsored events, community relations,
and media-facing promotional activities
Compile and verify monthly media monitoring reports
across online, print, and social channels for internal
distribution
OVERALL PROJECT
MANAGEMENT & COORDINATION OF MARKETING
ACTIVITIES
Coordinate and manage
photography for advertising, collateral and public relations
purposes between the Hotel, external vendors and the corporate
teams
Acts as the primary liaison of contact
for approved local photographers for food, amenity, and property
imagery, ensuring all photography adheres to brand
guidelines
Review menus and develop design
briefs and copywriting for all other marketing collaterals that
support campaigns and communications
Oversee
the creation and maintenance of digital channels, including updates
to the website and booking engine.
Develop and
manage a communications and F&B promotions calendar, including
scheduling press releases, media advisories, and coverage of hotel
events
Verify and compile monthly media
monitoring reports across online, print, and social channels for
internal
distribution
Talent
Profile
Bachelor's
degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business or
Communications
Minimum of 1 year experience in
Communications, Public Relation or Marketing in luxury
sector
Prior experience in agency and
influencer management
Experience of
developing, creating and managing promotional marketing
campaigns
