Safety Officer

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Working place : Major Construction site in Jurong island, tuas, etc, some time : head office

2. ECO and other certificate is in priority

3. Working experience : WSH Officer in construction (industrial / live plant / greenfield projects).

4. Key Responsibilities

a) Establish, implement and monitor WSH management systems on-site.

b) Conduct Committee meeting, safety inspections, toolbox meetings, and incident investigations.

c) Liaise with contractors, clients, and MOM officers for compliance.

d) Ensure adherence to SS 506 (Singapore) or equivalent local OSH standards.

e) Prepare safety reports (e.g., monthly WSH performance, near-miss analyses).

5. Skills & Competencies

a) Strong knowledge of construction safety hazards (e.g., scaffolding, lifting, electrical).

b) Familiarity with live plant safety (PTW, gas testing, hot work permits).

c) Proficient in WSH software (e.g., inTRAVEL, SAP EHS).

d) Leadership to enforce safety culture among workers.
