Job Summary
As an Assistant Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring exceptional service standards and guest satisfaction, as reflected in Forbes, NPS, and Tripadvisor reviews. You will manage staffing, uphold all relevant policies and procedures, and achieve organizational objectives in service quality, appearance, and safety through effective team member training.
Your role involves coordinating with internal departments and external vendors to maintain operational readiness, developing initiatives to improve efficiency, and monitoring team performance to ensure adherence to standards. You will foster a cooperative work environment, provide constructive feedback, conduct annual performance reviews, and communicate updates and issues to the team.
Additionally, you will support the Manager in achieving P&L objectives, budget and forecast departmental expenses, and be knowledgeable about F&B menu, assisting with guest orders as needed. Identifying opportunities for team member career progression and attending operations meetings are also key aspects of this role.
Job Responsibilities

- Manage staffing to maintain exceptional service levels for all guests.
- Comprehensively understand and uphold all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs related to the Infinity Pool.
- Achieve organizational objectives in service quality, appearance, and safety of the facilities through effective team member training while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to enhance the operational readiness and condition of the area.
- Develop and implement new initiatives and systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Continuously monitor team member performance across all service phases and job functions, ensuring adherence to departmental standards and addressing any deficiencies.
- Promote a cooperative working climate to maximize productivity and team member morale.
- Provide constructive feedback to supervisors and team members on their performance.
- Conduct annual performance reviews for team members.
- Communicate property-wide updates, issues, and guest-related matters to team members.
- Identify and nurture opportunities for team member career progression.
- Attend scheduled operations meetings and briefings as required.
- Assist the Manager in supporting P&L objectives to ensure profitability, achieve good ROIs, and meet KPIs.
- Budget and forecast monthly departmental expenses.
- Be knowledgeable with the F&B menu.
- To be willing and able to assist with taking guest F&B orders and relaying them accurately.
Job Requirements
Education & Certification
Degree in Hospitality or related field preferredExperience
At least 5 years of experience in a similar capacityOther Prerequisites
Possesses a strong background in operations in a 5-star resort settingHave prior knowledge of financials in P&L and budgetingExcellent communication skillsFluent in English, knowledge of additional languages is an advantageTell employers what skills you have
