Roles & Responsibilities
- Execute cargo movements in compliance to Sales / Purchase contracts and charter-parties.
- Execute vessels nominations, cargo / date range declaration to terminals and counterparties.
- Handle shipping operations for chartered vessels.
- Ensure all necessary financial security is in place.
- Appoint independent inspectors, expeditors and ship agents.
- Monitor closely vessel movements and terminal berthing program.
- Work with all relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth, optimal operations and minimize costs.
- Ensure contractual and operational information is updated in the system of record in a timely and accurate manner.
- Verification of invoices for payment and price settlement
- Ensuring month end closing is done timely
- Develop and maintain good relationships with all relevant stakeholders both internal and external. Traveling may be required from time to time.
- Other adhoc duties as assigned by supervisor
Stays available on call to respond to issues that may require immediate attention, resolutions and escalation.
Job requirements :
Bachelor’s degree or Polytechnic Diplomas in relevant fields.Minimum 4 years of working experience in cargo trading operationsRelevant knowledge of paper hedging will be an advantage.Previous experience of crude arbitrage and AG operations will be an advantage.Hardworking, results oriented, always strive for excellence.Analytical, strong numerical and spreadsheet skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written).Strong team player with the ability to work in a dynamic and fast pace work environment.Tell employers what skills you have
