Mandarin Oriental, Singapore is looking for a Director of Spa & Wellness to join our Spa & Wellness team.

About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore within the Spa & Wellness Department, the Director of Spa & Wellness is responsible for providing leadership, support, direction, management, and supervision of the daily operations of Spa, Fitness, Pool, and all other health and wellness-related activities of Mandarin Oriental, Singapore. The Director of Spa & Wellness reports to the Hotel Manager.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the highest standards of treatment, service, satisfaction, and attention to details in accordance to established MOHG policies and standard operating procedures.
- Recruit, on-board, train, develop, and motivate all colleagues to the required skills and service levels.
- Establish the annual budget for the Spa and Wellness department and develop marketing strategies to achieve financial targets established.
- Review schedules of therapists regularly and monitor treatment rooms utilization to maximize yield and operate at peak efficiency and productivity.
- Design and set achievable goals and incentive programme (treatment and retail) for spa colleagues.
- Regularly conduct market research and studies to understand market trends.
- Responsible for inventory purchase and control for products, equipment, and supplies.
- Conduct daily walkthroughs and ensure maintenance and housekeeping of all facilities and areas.
Qualifications
At least two (2) years of related working experience in a similar position in an international luxury hotel chainExperienced in creating spa treatment protocols and menusPossess knowledge and experience with different types of massage, body and skincare, and retail productsExcellent customer service skillsStrong leadership skillsGood interpersonal and communication skillsGood team playerStrong knowledge of the Spa industryOur commitment to you
