Job descriptionIdentify and screen acquisition targets through market studies, site inspections, competitor mapping, financial modelling, and strategic due diligence Structure and negotiate purchases, JVs, management and franchise agreements with landowners, funds, private‑equity partners, and global hotel operators Present investment papers and recommendations to senior management for approval Monitor operating performance of hotels : P&L, OPEX, CAPEX Publish monthly KPI dashboards and supply‑demand / macro‑economic intelligence to guide portfolio strategy Conceptualise in‑house hospitality brands; manage consultant briefs on design, budget, schedule, and brand‑standard rollout Drive asset‑enhancement projects with project, marketing, and property teams to maximise IRR and asset value Maintain relationships with operators, valuers, government agencies, financiers, legal advisers, architects, QS and MEP consultants Lead, coach, and develop to uplift team capability Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Real Estate, Business, or related discipline Minimum 10-15 years’ leadership experience in hotel business development, or operations with a proven track record of closed deals Sound knowledge of APAC and key international hotel markets, valuation methodologies, and regulations Strategic communicator with advanced negotiation, problem‑solving and commercial acumen Highly analytical, organised, and self‑driven; comfortable influencing senior stakeholders in a matrix structure Positive, adaptable, and willing to travel regionally as required Fluency in English (spoken and written) essential, Chinese a requirement , Bahasa an advantage
