Overview
ESR is seeking a driven and analytical Analyst with minimum 2 years of investment experience to join the Group Investment Team. The candidate will independently evaluate real estate investment opportunities, conduct in-depth financial modelling, and prepare high-quality investment papers as well as ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decision making by ESR senior management. The candidate will also work with key stakeholders across the broader business, including the Group Strategy & Investments team on Mergers & Acquisitions opportunities and the in-country investment teams on key projects.
Responsibilities
- Independently assess potential real estate investment opportunities across various asset classes and geographies, including both equity and debt structures
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to analyze deal-level economics, sensitivity scenarios, and return metrics (e.g., IRR, equity multiple, cash-on-cash)
- Draft clear and compelling investment memos and presentations for internal investment committees and senior leadership, outlining the strategic rationale, risks, and recommendations
- Conduct macro and micro-level market research, competitive benchmarking, and due diligence to inform underwriting assumptions and investment strategy
- Liaise with brokers, partners, legal counsel, and other external advisors to facilitate deal execution
- Provide on-demand analytical support to senior management, including portfolio reviews, hold / sell analysis, and performance tracking
- Review potential investment opportunities proposed by the broader business and work with Group Strategy & Investments team on potential Mergers & Acquisitions opportunities
Qualifications
