Job Overview
We have built a scrum team of technologists who have developed digital products to improve citizens' experience of using the agency's digital services. The team that you will be working with is the Whole-of Government Application Analytics (WOGAA). The office will be located at Punggol Digital District.
As a UX designer, you will work with our scrum team and other government agencies to inform product and design decisions. You will get to influence the digital experience of the agencies digital services. This will involve having good interpersonal skills, sharp analytical mind, and astute design judgment. This role is ideal for someone who is confident working across the full design lifecycle from discovery and research through to high-fidelity design, user testing, and handoff to developers in an agile environment.
What to Expect :
- Within first month, you have understood the overall product strategy, did a stock take on the UX status of the project, and contributed design screens for concurrent active sprints.
- By the end of 3 months, you should have gathered requirements, co-created with stakeholders and the scrum team, tested, prototyped, and shipped at least one new feature to the product backlog.
- After 6 months, you will have led research efforts to identify at least one opportunity for the product to grow or proposed enhancements for the existing tracks, in collaboration with designers, engineers, and product managers.
- Beyond that, you will continue to solve problems such as :
- How can we empower government agencies to create a seamless experience for citizen across digital services
- help citizen complete the service with ease
- resolve the agency pain point and improve ops efficiency
- use data to improve government services
- design for reusability across products

At least 2-3 years for a junior role; at least 4-5 years for a senior role as a UX designer, or similar role in digital product teamsStrong portfolio demonstrating experience in end-to-end product design and delivery, including facilitating workshops, gathering requirements, usability testing, envisioning interaction flows, and delivering high-quality UI design.Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and how to design for diverse user groups.Experience in Agile and UX development environment will be an added advantageTell employers what skills you have
