Job Description : HR Manager (Singapore)
Company Overview
My clientis a dynamic and growing organization looking to expand presence in Singapore. They are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable HR Manager to lead human resources initiatives and support our growth in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Compliance and Legal Knowledge : Ensure full compliance with Singapore’s labor laws, regulations, and employment policies.
- Team Building and Development : Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and development of a high-performing team.
- Company Setup : Oversee the establishment of our Singapore office, including legal, administrative, and operational aspects.
- Policy Development : Develop and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to the Singapore context.
- Stakeholder Management : Communicate effectively with Chinese stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment.
- Performance Management : Implement performance management systems to drive productivity and employee engagement.
- Employee Relations : Foster a positive work environment and manage employee relations to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Strategic Planning : Work closely with senior management to develop and execute HR strategies that support the company’s goals and objectives.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, with a proven track record in team building and company setup from 0-1.Legal Knowledge : In-depth understanding of Singapore’s labor laws and employment regulations.Language Skills : Fluency in both English and Mandarin (verbal and written).Team Leadership : Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.Communication : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions.Cultural Sensitivity : Understanding of both Singaporean and Chinese business cultures.Preferred Qualifications
Experience in setting up and managing a Singapore office for a foreign company.Familiarity with HR systems and tools (e.g., HRIS, ATS).Certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).Contact info
