Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join on a 1-year contract . The engineer will be responsible for automating, securing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure and deployment pipelines, while embedding security best practices across development workflows and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain secure, automated CI / CD pipelines and infrastructure.
- Develop automation to enable deployment, scaling, monitoring, and recovery of applications.
- Troubleshoot system and application issues across platforms, participating in incident response.
- Implement monitoring and observability tools to track performance and health.
- Automate configuration management and disaster recovery processes.
- Provision and manage VMs, containers, and cloud services (AWS / Azure / GCP).
- Apply secure configurations and industry best practices to infrastructure and applications.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, system hardening, and security incident resolution.
- Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure compliance with standards.
Requirements
Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related fields.Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Security engineering.Proficiency in scripting / programming (Bash, Python, PowerShell, Go).Strong understanding of SDLC, CI / CD, and DevOps methodologies.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet).Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, ELK, Grafana).Solid knowledge of system / network security, vulnerability scanning, and hardening.Familiarity with security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS benchmarks) is an advantage.Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CREST, cloud security) will be a plus.Tell employers what skills you have
