Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and collaborative DevOps Engineer with a strong foundation in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to join our innovative team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between software development and IT operations, focusing on automating and streamlining our operational processes. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building and maintaining scalable, reliable, and efficient cloud infrastructure while fostering a culture of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI / CD). This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with junior-level AWS experience to grow their skills in a fast-paced DevOps environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain our CI / CD pipelines to automate application testing and deployment.
• Implement and manage a scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant infrastructure on AWS.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Manage core AWS services, including VPC, IAM, ECS, S3, EC2, EBS, CloudWatch, and RDS.
• Configure and maintain virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets, and security groups to ensure a secure and efficient network environment.
• Administer Identity and Access Management (IAM) to securely control access to AWS resources.[ 3 ]
• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using ECS and Docker.
• Utilize CloudWatch and other monitoring tools to ensure system health, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to optimize the software development lifecycle from coding to deployment and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, test, and production environments.
• Implement and enforce security best practices for our cloud infrastructure.
