About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Operations Business Analyst to join our banking client on a 1-year renewable contract. The successful candidate will support operational change initiatives, streamline processes, and act as a bridge between business, operations, and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for operational processes, workflows, and system enhancements.
- Partner with stakeholders across Operations, Technology, and Business teams to identify gaps, propose solutions, and ensure smooth delivery.
- Support the implementation of new systems and process improvements, including UAT planning and execution.
- Prepare detailed process documentation, functional specifications, and reports for management.
- Identify operational risks, propose mitigations, and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
- Monitor KPIs and provide insights to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field.3–6 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within Banking / Financial Services Operations.Strong understanding of front-to-back banking processes (e.g., Trade Finance, Payments, Settlements, Treasury Operations, or Regulatory Reporting).Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and business workflow design.Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio (knowledge of SQL or reporting tools a plus).Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise across multiple teams.Detail-oriented, analytical, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.Tell employers what skills you have
