Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary

The IT Operations Technician provides day-to-day technical support and ensures smooth operation of the company’s IT infrastructure. This role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, maintaining systems, and assisting staff with IT-related concerns.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support for company desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and maintain routers, firewalls, access points (Unifi), and basic network connections.
• Administer and monitor CCTV systems and company database systems.
• Perform routine IT maintenance, updates, and backups.
• Assist in network administration and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
• Ensure IT security compliance on desktops and company systems.
• Document incidents and resolutions, escalating issues as needed.
• Monitor and maintain IT systems, networks, and servers to ensure optimal performance.
• Provide first-level technical support to staff, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Install, configure, and update workstations, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Perform routine system backups, patching, and preventive maintenance.
• Manage user accounts, access rights, and passwords in accordance with company policies.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and changes for tracking and reporting purposes.
