Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Application Manager to oversee and optimize Avaloq-based core banking platform in a dynamic international environment. This position combines hands-on application support with collaboration across business and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure stability and smooth operations of the Avaloq application landscape, including deployments, environment management, and system monitoring
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, working closely with internal teams and vendors to apply fixes and preventive measures
- Coordinate between development, operations, and business stakeholders to address application requirements and enhancements
- Contribute to process improvements by identifying opportunities for automation and streamlining workflows
- Support release cycles and system upgrades, ensuring timely and controlled deployments
- Participate in regional and global initiatives, bringing insights from Asia-Pacific to cross-border teams
Skills & Experience
Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline5+ years’ hands-on experience with Avaloq, ideally supported by certificationSolid background in maintaining and operating mission-critical applications within financial servicesExposure to DevOps practices and automation tools (e.g., GitLab, CI / CD pipelines) is an advantageFamiliarity with release and change management processesWorking knowledge of Oracle databases with ability to investigate and optimize queriesStrong communication skills, with the ability to work in agile teams across multiple regionsMinimum experience in financial services or banking environmentsInterested applicants, kindly apply at the link directly or send your CV at derek.lee@eamesconsulting.com for a confidential discussion.
