As a leading contractor in the Asia-Pacific region, Leighton Asia is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Singapore. This role is integral to our mission of delivering sustainable and innovative projects. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will support our commitment to excellence and safety by ensuring that all financial aspects of our projects are meticulously managed.

Key objectives of this role include providing accurate cost estimations, managing budgets, overseeing contract administration, and implementing cost control measures to ensure project profitability and efficiency.

Additionally, the Senior Quantity Surveyor will mentor and supervise more junior Quantity Surveyors, fostering their professional development and ensuring high standards of practice. The role also involves client-facing responsibilities, requiring effective communication and relationship management to meet client expectations and deliver exceptional project outcomes

Job Descripition

• Develop comprehensive and precise cost estimates for projects.
• Analyse project specifications and drawings to prepare estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information.
• Develop and maintain project budgets.
• Monitor and control expenditures to keep within the approved budget limits.
• Prepare regular financial reports for management review.
• Draft, review, and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
• Resolve any contractual disputes that arise during the project lifecycle

Need relevant experience in quantity surveying

Qualifications

Diploma / Degree in Quantitative Surveying or related area
