Responsibilities
Develop and manage category strategies, including product
assortment and merchandising plans aligned with business
goals.
Customize plans to fit each store's
layout and customer needs.
Plan store layouts
and brand placements; ensure planograms are implemented
correctly.
Track product and category
performance, improving ranges and removing low-performing
items.
Use data and insights to drive category
growth and optimize results.
Build strong
vendor relationships to support sales, margins, and product
innovation.
Manage vendor performance and
negotiate pricing to meet margin targets.
Oversee product selection, purchasing, and stock levels
to ensure availability and reduce overstock.
Work with Operations, Marketing, and other teams on
promotions and seasonal activities.
Provide
regular reports and manage projects like layout changes and
seasonal updates.
Maintain accurate product
data.
Job
Requirements
Diploma
or Degree in a relevant field
At least 5 years
of experience in category management, buying, or merchandising
(FMCG or multi-category preferred)
Strong in
pricing, supplier negotiations, and vendor management
Experienced in leading projects from planning to
execution
Detail-oriented and good with
numbers
Proactive, efficient, and
self-motivated
Location : East
Salary range : $5,500.00 to
S$6,000.00
